Initiated in Lebanon in 2002 through an affiliation by GlobeMed with the Saint-Joseph University and expanded to KSA during 2011, the coding school came to fulfill a growing need for a common medical language standardization of health information.

The coding school offers health information coding programs that allow students to become experts in coding healthcare information according to international classifications and guidelines as well as local nomenclatures.

Proposed programs provide students with an academic preparation to develop a basic knowledge in medical science and to master the medical coding skills. Courses on medical terminology and human body systems are also included for trainees with no previous medical background allowing them to understand & analyze chart documentations. The coding school follows a practical approach that takes students through a step-by-step study of what medical coders need to know, by giving them hundreds of practical exercises while testing them on speed and accuracy.

GlobeMed professional instructors can deliver coding courses related to international classifications such as ICD-9-CM, ICD-10, ICD-10-CM, ICD-10-AM, ACHI & CPT4. In addition to regular classroom courses, the coding programs include online sessions through i*School®, the electronic learning platform developed by GlobeMed, a powerful tool designed to answer the various administrative and educational needs of its users.
